Our Mural Process

1. Design the image with the stakeholders to create design.

2. Wash Prep and Prime the surface of the wall.

3. Transferring the Art as a paint-by-number mural.

4. Public Paint Day.  We invite an additional Artist with special needs, other nonprofits, corporate teams and locals, to color in the numbered spaces.

5. Muralism Crew comes back to clean up the drips and focus on the fine details.

6. Two-step Graffiti Coating to protect the art from weather and vandalism.

Lawrence was co-owner and principle at Merlan Creative Studio, designing digital murals, touch-screen interactive kiosks and augmented reality for theme parks and construction companies. Prior to that Lawrence was an Art Director at Iguana Digital. A native Angelino, Lawrence is proud of the city's long history with outdoor art and murals. He has participated in several mural projects around the city and encourages artists of all ages and abilities to get involved.
