Testimonials

I want to thank Muralism and these awesome Artists. This is a dream come true. It is absolutely spectacular. The boathouse stands as an education center. Literally thousands of kids have learned kayak and boat safety here. We had always hoped to elevate the marine biology aspect of the education center.  This beautiful mural does that. Best of all, the whole community got to be a part of it.

The stereotype of kids at continuation schools is that we are dumb lowlifes. The truth is we are smart and kind and this program helps us realize that. This mural is a symbol of Empowerment. Not just for us, but for everyone who sees it.

I walk by here every day. I love the incredible paint job! It just makes me so happy.

It is so easy working with Muralism. Our Artists provide the inspiration and their Artists make it work on a wall, while still keeping the Nickelodeon style. They have everything ready for us when we get there. They bring the community together to paint with our interns. It’s fantastic!

-Carson Smith
Director of NICE, Nickelodeon’s Community Outreach

This is a totally fantastic project! It is such a pleasure working with Muralism. My kids are collaborating on the restoration and expansion of this historical 1976 mural. It is an investment in our future students and the community as a whole.

I love working with Muralism. It helps give me a chance to do the kind of work I enjoy. It gives me an artistic avenue. It doesn’t hurt that I can make a little money along the way.

We had four designs that were created by our San Pedro Artists with developmental disabilities that were turned into these beautiful murals with the help of Muralism and their wonderful Artists. We are so excited to be part of this project to promote inclusivity in the arts.

The main purpose of Muralism is two things. One is about bringing LA back to its former beautiful glory before the Olympics. The other is to bring about the unlikeliest of friendships within the community.

-Annie Leffe
Muralism Artist

This is Amazing. When we saw our associates depicted on this mural we were blown away. It actually brought one of our associates to tears. Your team had everything ready for us, the paint by number mural, the paints and supplies. Our associates and friends from the community came out and filled in the colors and brought it to life. What a great bonding experience.

-Nancy Neibrugge
Executive Director, The Campbell Center, Glendale

To say that my heart is overflowing today would be an understatement. Never in my career have I been able to represent two organizations that are so near and dear to me at the same time. Both of these organizations are improving the lives of so many children and families, encouraging them to be all that they can be. And now we have this beautiful mural to help us move Villa Esperanza into phase two. It's just a thrill! (Words for the 2021 ribbon cutting at Villa Esperanza Mural, Pasadena)

The officers working side by side with these kids is worth a whole year of inclusion training.
